Hello once again.

Happy New Year (and Lunar New Year as well! It’s SNEK time!)

I am here, making a brand new post and deleting the old ones off of this site. Why? Because I have decided to finally use this thing again haha. There isn’t a whole lot I wanna say about any of it but I restructured it and cleaned some stuff up. You can find all my art and music and whatever through the links in the PROJECTS tab or by clicking that link right there.

Over time I plan on updating the various pages and creating a section for random gamedev type stuff that I am up to when that happens. But the next page I’ll try and focus on is the project pages for Volt once I have some more stuff to share. I have been focusing really hard right now on trying to get a framework set up for more than just a platformer game, something reusable. Right now user interface shenanigans are eating up a lot of time. The thing about GameMaker is that it still doesn’t have a UI editor. It’s coming and I am trying to be as patient as I can and build what I have in a modular way so that when that comes out I can potentially use it, but for now its being a big pain in the butt haha.

Other than that I have a lot of random life stuff that happened over the last year. I got engaged back in August and hopefully will be able to have the wedding this year – exciting times!!!

Anyway eventually I’ll get around to using this also for more casual things to. I have a lot of thoughts about games and media I enjoy that are too long to fit comfortably on a social media platform… and with the state of social media these days I’d really like to use this place I’ve got that is all my own to just post about whatever I want without any care. This is my spot!!!

I finally got this place to play nice on mobile too so that’s good. If I notice any other weird stuff I’ll try to fix it but I am not a web developer and if its a little busted I can’t spend forever on this haha.
